Man o man, before Diddy was making bands, sponsoring alcoholic beverages and designing clothes for the practically extinct Sean Jean brand, he was producing hit records. Some of these hits came from artists on his imprint, Bad Boy Records. I know, its hard to remember that far back, but some of these artists had a lot of potential.

One of the supposed shining stars was a rapper by the name of G Dep. You may remember G Dep, "The Deputy", from his work on Diddy's 2001 hit, "Let's Get It". Personally, I'll always remember my man from this classic joint:

Even though his album Child of the Ghetto was a critical success, commercially the album did nothing. And this was back when people actually bought albums, waaaaay before Z-Share and Bit Torrent.
G. Dep was last seen at a T-Mobile store breaking displays and arguing with customer service reps over his text message limit ( Source). Hopefully, G. Dep can clear up his telecom issues and ressurect the Harlem Shake. Lord knows Diddy would hop on any track he could spit ad-libs over... "take that, take that".
